Humanitarian and Compassionate grounds
This immigration program gives you an opportunity to become a permanent resident of Canada, but this program is applicable only for a specific category of people with exceptional cases.

Which rules may apply to H&C:
People can apply inside Canada for a permanent resident status
May apply also from aboard for a permanent resident visa
You cannot have more than one application at the same time
When you apply for H&C risk factors as will not assess such as, cruel, danger of life, punishment or unusual treatment.
You cannot apply if you applied for a refugee status and if your refugee matter is still in the process in the IRB
Application for H&C can be only after one year from the time you received a negative decision from the IRB (Immigration Refugee Board)
